Objectives
- To develop short, mid and long-term based field crop fungicides strategy, manage the portfolio pipeline, including LCM’s, to maximize product value to support BASF AP country strategy.
- To develop, lead, and implement new product launches.
- To develop yearly field crop fungicide brand campaigns & ASP plans to effectively achieve yearly budget and profit targets.
- Enhance/Increase BASF’s position in field crop fungicides.
- Support crop manager to develop and realize crop strategy and plan.
Main Tasks
- Develop product strategies aligned with crop strategies, aimed at meeting needs of key farmers.
- Create and manage ASP (Advertising / Sales / Promotion) budget, create demand at farmer-level.
- Develop product and brand plans, guide/support sales team to implement product and brand campaigns relative to crop strategies to achieve short term financial targets and long-term strategic growth targets.
- Lead, develop and own 10 year forecast for own products, including identification and proposal of new ideas for LCM (Life-Cycle Management) projects.
- As the key country contact partner of the regional product manager, to share best practice and experience form local market.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above. Agriculture or plant protection studies are not required but strongly suggested.
- Working Experience: 5 years in Marketing or Sales in the Agriculture. Crop/ product management background is preferred.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Working-level English speaking and writing is necessary.
